A hideout is a place a friend tells you about. That's the shape of this pillar — private villas and rental homes we've stayed in, vetted, and would send our own people to.

We use the shops we'd use ourselves, and we hand you the keys when you check in. Most guests want a bike for around-town and a car for the longer days; either is fine, both is common.
